The bulbous bone reminiscent of a bony socket pushes against the ceiling with wood supports that extend to the ground. Like a crouched over body wedged between ceiling and floor the sculpture pushes the space it’s contained in. Seen from below the opening in the bony form suggests the space in the pelvis where an infant’s head goes through.
